How this archive is being restored

• Pages are restored at their original addresses. Nothing is redirected to the homepage.
• Where the original write-up was recovered, it is republished with the old theme, share widgets and trackers stripped out. The wording is not modernised and the tense is not changed.
• Where only the headline, date and source were recovered, the page says that plainly rather than filling the gap with invented copy.
• WittyFutty does not own or host match footage. Archive pages link to the original source on the platform that published it.
• When a source has been removed, the page says so and does not substitute a re-upload from somewhere else.
