Privacy

This policy describes what the site actually does, which is very little. It is short because there is not much to describe.

What this site does not do

  • No analytics of any kind. No Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Meta pixel, no third-party measurement script.
  • No cookies are set by this site.
  • No local storage or session storage is written by the tools. Anything you type into a calculator exists only in the page in front of you and is gone when you close it.
  • No contact form, no account, no newsletter and no server-side form handling. Nothing you type is transmitted anywhere.
  • No advertising and no advertising identifiers.

Server logs

The site is static files served by a web host. Like any web host, it keeps standard access logs, which typically record the request, the time, the IP address and the browser's user agent. WittyFutty does not add anything on top of that and does not use those logs to build any profile of you.

Links to other sites

Archive pages link to posts on X, Reddit, Tumblr and other platforms. Guides and tools link to IFAB and The FA. One archive page links to a supplier. These are ordinary links: nothing is requested from those sites until you choose to follow a link, and once you do, their policies apply rather than this one.

Third-party media

Some football-culture pages offer an official YouTube video. The initial page contains no YouTube iframe, thumbnail or third-party script. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press the load button.

After you press that button, the page creates a YouTube privacy-enhanced iframe from youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube then receives the normal information sent with a web request and its own privacy terms apply.

Archive source links are ordinary links. WittyFutty no longer loads old Tumblr GIFs or direct Reddit video files, and no script supplied by X, Reddit, Tumblr or YouTube runs in the WittyFutty page itself.

Your rights and how to raise something

Because the site collects nothing and holds no accounts, there is no personal data here to access, correct or delete beyond the host's standard server logs. If an archive page mentions you, or you hold rights in something it links to, the source-media and takedown routes are set out on the corrections page.

Changes

If the site ever starts doing any of the things listed above as not happening, this page will be updated before it does.
