Juventus director Fabio Paratici explains when Juventus and their board decided to sign Cristiano Ronaldo!
As you know, Cristiano Ronaldo has been officially presented as new Juventus players.
Ronaldo has left Real as the greatest player of the club, and has come to Juve as a living legend.
There was a mystery about when Juventus decided to sign Ronaldo, given that the deal caught everyone by surprise.
As of now, this is a mystery no more. As reported in gianlucadimarzio.com, Juventus Director Paratici explained when Juve decided to buy Ronaldo.
“The crazy idea was born after the first match here, when Cristiano received the standing ovation after his bicycle kick.
“During the week we heard from his agent, he told me that Cristiano was struck by all the attention he received. He said, ‘he would like to come and play for Juventus one day.’ I told him, there are many dreams but few come true.
“Then when we met again for Cancelo he explained the situation to me. We were receptive to it, I spoke to the president first. In a few hours he told me ‘go ahead, see if the opportunity is there.”
Obviously the opportunity was there and Juventus got themselves one hell of a player.

Its strange how much one simple gesture can have on a player. If Juve’s fans would boo Ronaldo, he might not be in Turin today.

He would probably be still at Real Madrid, or some other club in Europe.
There are obviously question marks over Ronaldo’s ability to score crazy amount of goals in Italy, but an answer to this will only came when Serie A starts with Ronaldo in Juve’s shirt.
