Jack Wilshere explains that he would never bring himself to play for this club!
Wilshere left Arsenal in 2018 to join West Ham where he, similar to Arsenal, had plenty of injuries and left the club during the summer transfer window as a free agent.
A real shame to what has happened to Wilshere, who was seen as the next best thing but was destroyed by injuries.
In 10 years, he made 197 appearances for the Gunners as he managed to boss the midfield even against Barcelona.
Speaking for Super 6 podcast, Wilshere had this to say about which club he could never play for.
"I love Mourinho, I think he's an unbelievable coach... But I couldn't do it. I couldn't play for Tottenham"
"They wouldn't have me! But I don't think I could do it. It's not as if Arsenal got rid of me and kicked me out and there is a bad feeling, they offered me a deal and I wanted to try something else. I'm an Arsenal man."
A logical answer from former Arsenal prodigy, who is still waiting to sign for another club.
He is only 28 years old and it seems that Wilshere is close to an end of his football career. He should have been the captain of Arsenal and leading Gunners to new glories instead of trying to get any club to sign him.
Usually, injuries are the difference between successful football players and unsuccessful ones and Wilshere is a prime example of that.
