Alvaro Morata controversially disallowed a goal against Juventus in Champions League!
Alvaro Morata controversially disallowed a goal as VAR has a problem with Atletico.
Atletico Madrid has finally taken the lead as they pressed hard to get that goal and then the second one.
They have been a lot better in the second half and only a fantastic save from Szczesny prevented a lead for Atletico.
Just before the actual goal for Atletico, Alvaro Morata scored his goal.
Referee used VAR and decided to rule out the goal. This was second VAR decision that went against Atletico, the first one being ruling out a penalty.
Anyway, this proved to be a very controversial decision as Morata scored a clear goal against Juve. It was adjudged that he fouled Chiellini, but this was very harsh.
In any case, Atletico is in a deserved lead as Juventus is in big troubles. They were solid in the first half but terrible in the second half.
