Hector Bellerin sees Arsenal as a new club under Unai Emery!
Hector Bellerin sees the difference.
Unai Emery suffered two defeats in his first two matches, but then got two wins out of two matches.
You could say a bad start, that gradually improved.
Despite Arsenal not really excelling in those two victories, it was an important boost for the new manager and his team.
Speaking about the new manager, Bellerin had this to say about him for the Times.
“It feels like a new club. We have so many new staff.
“I am impressed with Emery. We lost our first two games but we were very close both times. After the match, the players could feel that things were coming together.
“With Arsene, he wanted us to play in the same way regardless of the opponents. The idea was that we could play in our way and beat anyone. But Emery is very focused on preparing a plan for our next opponents, whoever they may be. It is very detailed and very professional.”
Bellerin is seeing a big difference at Arsenal, as he thinks he is playing for a completely different club.
There were many changes, but Emery represents the biggest change at the club. He has a quite a different philosophy to Wenger.
This “different philosophy” might be crucial for Arsenal, as there was a feeling of tiredness under Wenger.
Bellerin is impressed with Emery, but the Spaniard will still need a lot more time to get Arsenal playing his way.
Defense seems very shaky and this will probably be the crucial point where Emery will succeed or fail.
