Roman Abramovich might sell football club Chelsea, despite the club unofficially denying the potential sale!
Abramovich could pull the plug on his club.
There are numerous reports talking about Roman Abramovich and his willingness to sell football club Chelsea.
The reason for this “speculation” is that Abramovich decided to evaluate the club in recent weeks.
Owners usually do that when they get ready about selling the club.
Chelsea has unofficially denied the reports, but Chelsea’s future does seem up in the air.
Not long ago, Britain’s ‘richest man’ Jim Ratcliffe was linked with a reported £2 billion offer for the club – which was apparently rejected by Abramovich.
Ratcliffe might return with another “improved” offer, as Abramovich’s time at Chelsea could come to an end after almost 20 years.

It has to be said that Chelsea has become a little less competitive in transfer market in recent years, as they simply can’t compete against City or United.
Abramovich has spent a real fortune Chelsea and there is a possibility of the Russian Oligarch trying to “cash out” his long term investment of the club.
It’s also important to note that Chelsea recently put on hold their plan to increase their stadium, because of “unfavorable investment climate”.
Given that Chelsea has already denied this news (unofficially), it’s probably just speculation. Nevertheless, things can change quickly and Chelsea could end up having new owner sooner than later.
