Cristiano Ronaldo decided to talk about Lionel Messi in his official presentation for Juventus!
Ronaldo is officially a Juventus player.
A move that some still have problem getting their head around, has officially concluded today.
Ronaldo had his medical and has now been officially presented as Juventus player.
He has left Real Madrid after becoming their best player ever, in space of 9 years.
He broke the record and scored precisely 450 goals for Real. In what was a very productive partnership that resulted in FOUR Champions Leagues.
With Ronaldo leaving Spain, his duopoly with Messi has ended. That’s why its not a surprise that Ronaldo talked about his biggest “foe” in his official presentation.
“I don’t have rivalries with players, I never had. That’s not part of my ethics. It was a good challenge with Messi. All of you liked it and it was interesting. But I never saw it as a rivalry.”
Ronaldo has downplayed this rivalry, but this isn’t entirely true.
Messi and Ronaldo faced each other many times (in critical matches) in La Liga and Champions League, while they also compete for Ballon d’Or.
“I don’t have rivalries with other players!”
They probably made each other better because of it, but it was probably more than just a challenge for Ronaldo.
So Cristiano Ronaldo is leaving Real Madrid for Juventus.

If you think about it, Messi is the only reason why Ronaldo isn’t and probably never will be acknowledged as the best player in the world (by everyone).
Given that Cris went to a weaker team than Real, he has probably “conceded” to Messi. Still, if he manages to recreate his Real’s form at Juventus, he just might end up at the top again.
