Watch as Xherdan Shaqiri makes an intentional stomp on Ruben Loftus-Cheek in a Premier League match between Stoke and Crystal Palace.
Xherdan Shaqiri scored one fantastic goal and made one shameful foul.
The match ended 1-2 for Crystal Palace, after Shaqiri scored a fantastic free kick goal for Stoke.
It looked as though Stoke would win this match, but in the end Palace ended up too strong.
They scored two goal in the second half and left Stoke all but relegated.
They still need to play one more match, but given that Swansea is 3 points ahead of them and still has 3 matches to play, one doesn’t fancy Stoke’s chances.
The most controversial moment happened after Palace scored their second goal.
Shaqiri’s career in reverse is brilliant. Establishes Stoke as a mid table side, gets noticed after scoring the goal of the tournament at Euro 2016, spends a season at Inter before joining Bayern Munich, where he wins the treble, then ends his career with his hometown club Basel.

Obviously, Stoke players didn’t like the fact that they would be getting relegated and started making fouls on Palace’s players.
Shaqiri made an intentional stomp on Loftus-Cheek leg from behind, which could have seriously injured Palace’s player.
Well, referee showed Shaqiri only a yellow card, which was really bizarre and totally wrong.
You could say that Shaqiri got away with a yellow, but Stoke couldn’t get away from relegation.
