Watch as Joe Bennett gets only a yellow card for a terrible tackle on Leroy Sane in an FA Cup match!
Joe Bennett got lucky as Sane nearly got his leg broken.
City is still leading 0-2 against Cardiff City, as Cardiff just doesn’t look like doing anything in this match.
Kevin De Bruyne’s cheeky free kick goal and Sterling close range header is for now enough for City. To be honest, it should have been 0-3 for City, if Silva’s goal wouldn’t be ruled out for some bizarre reason.
Despite, City’s goal being stolen by the referees, the most controversial moment happened when Joe Bennett made his horrible tackle.

Leroy Sane was on his classical run, going past everyone, when Bennett cut his run a bit short. It was a terrible tackle, as Bennett caught Sane’s foot. It was a potential leg-break tackle, but referee still showed Bennett only a yellow card.
Like with Bernardo Silva’s odd decision, VAR was again NOT used.
Replays clearly showed just how bad the tackle was, but the decision stood.
So, City is going to win this match, despite some bad decisions from the referees (having VAR available).
