Watch as Stephane Ruffier gets a strange red card against Monaco for confronting assistant referee, after Monaco scored against Saint Etienne in Ligue 1!
Stephane Ruffier got sent off against Monaco, as Saint Etienne fell apart.
Its 0-4 for Monaco, who have well beaten this Saint Etienne’s side. Monaco was just too good for Saint Etienne, tonight. They were clinical when in possession and basically scored from every chance they got.
Even though Saint Etienne, got one player sent off, Monaco was dominating this match well before the sending off.
It was still a strange red card for Saint Etienne’s keeper Stephane Ruffier.

Monaco scored their third goal through Fabinho, and Saint Etienne’s players, along with Ruffier, didn’t like that. Ruffier went to assistant referee and giving him a slight push with his body. It looked as though he wants to get near his ear to talk, but main referee showed him a straight red card.
It was a very harsh decision as Ruffier didn’t want to hurt assistant referee, but he still had to go.
Well, Monaco than scored another goal, which all but ended the match.
A very good result for Monaco who are keeping that second place in the league.
